The Grid were the project of Dave Ball (better known as the moustachioed half of Soft
Cell) and producer Richard Norris (now better known as Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve).
Floatation was their debut release  - a slice of ambient house that was an instant
classic and a cult favourite. DJ Paul Woolford likes it so much he has now produced
a special thirteen minute edit which you can now get on clear vinyl with a Norris
edit over on the flip.
